SMC Catering Company is a boutique catering company located in Houston . Known for our consistency, timeliness, and fresh menus, we flawlessly execute events of every shape and size. Whether youre looking for an energizing, productivity boosting lunch break or a rewarding celebration gala, we are dedicated to creating something truly incredible. 

Originally from Augsburg, Germany, Chef Sparkle was lured into the
culinary world when her passion for this industry and for food was
recognized at an early age. Her family traveled across Europe, as well
as the Northeast coast of the States, experiencing cuisine from all
regions before eventually settling back in Houston. However, this
international exposure to a variety of foods would fuel her lifelong
passion for cooking.

 

Chef Sparkle went on to study at the University of Houston, earning
her degree in Business and Entrepreneurship. From there, she
graduated from LeNotrê Culinary Institute (ranked as the #1 Culinary
school in the United States) where she learned to further develop her
own unique style and flair.


During this period, Chef Sparkle started her own personal and
corporate catering company that allowed her to work with clients such
as Fortune 100 Company - SAP, The Houston Texans, as well as Michelle Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Houston Texans GM Rick Smith,NBA All Star Amare Stoudamire, and many others.

Over the last 20 years, Chef Sparkle has grown her experience as a
director of catering operations working with The Original Red Cat Jazz
Cafe, Harlon's BBQ, Davis Street at Hermann Park, and Martini Blu
providing the following services;
● Establishing Catering events with new & existing clientele by
scheduling, F&B budgets, suppliers, and contracts.
● Restaurant kitchen design
● Employee hiring, training and manuals
● Menu engineering and design for each event
● Marketing, social media, web search optimization


Over the course of her career, Chef Sparkle had the privilege of
working alongside 2-star Michelin Rated French Chef Olivier Burgos
(ranked best chef of Queensland Australia, 5 awards for Best European
restaurant On the Gold Coast and 14/20 on the Australian Good Food
guide). She’s also been a food stylist and consultant for an episode of
TLC’s Little People and featured locally and nationally as an Executive
Chef on Fox 26 (Isaiah Factor), KPRC 2 (Rodeo segment), WB Network
(cooking segment), VH1 (reality show production), and more.
